The Weekend workshops run for approximately seven hours each day, across a weekend. Workshops are one-to-one, or you may book two people in together for a more social session. I generally don't take larger bookings than two people, so you get my undivided attention, and so the material covered suits your needs, rather than someone else's.
The exact topics covered in the weekend are up to you - I'll tailor the workshop to your needs, but can cover the functions of your camera, as well as lighting, composition, photographic techniques and digital processing workflows.
The purpose of the weekend is to learn how to get the best results from your camera. You'll be able to learn about aperture, shutter speed and sensitivity (ISO). We'll explore lighting and composition, and you'll learn the best way to approach a range of different subjects, depending on your interests. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice the concepts covered in the workshop, and towards end of each day I'll critique some of the photos taken and give advice on improvements that might be made.
Tea, coffee and other refreshments are provided (you'll need to bring your own lunch each day).
